It's been a while since my last post on this, but I've been busy gathering parts for the guitar and am still waiting for some.
Removing the humbucker bridge pickup, I found out that the replacement for it won't fit the ring that came with the guitar, so I ordered one that would. The volume and tone pots are in, but I've decided to replace the three-way switch as well.
And, I purchased a neck on Ebay.
I will be removing all the wiring in the body and replacing it.
But I still have to get the parts in to proceed.
